What we collect, and why
The only personal data we collect is what you type into the contact form: your name, your email address and your message. We use it for one purpose only — replying to you.
The legal basis is our legitimate interest in answering the people who write to us (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR). Providing this data is voluntary; without it we simply cannot reply.
We do not run analytics, advertising, social-network trackers or profiling of any kind on this site.
How long we keep it
Messages sent through the contact form are kept for up to three years from our last exchange with you, then deleted. Data related to an order or a lodge booking is kept for the period required by applicable accounting and tax law.
Who else sees it
Your data is read by the estate only. It is never sold, rented or shared for marketing purposes.
Two technical providers necessarily process it on our behalf: the company hosting this website, and the email provider that carries the message from the form to our mailbox. Both act on our instructions alone. [Provider names to be completed.]
Cookies
This site uses no advertising, analytics or tracking cookies. That is why you are not asked to accept anything: under the ePrivacy rules, only non-essential cookies require consent, and we set none.
The site stores just two small items, both strictly necessary to work as you expect:
age_ok— remembers that you confirmed you are of legal drinking age, so the question is not asked again at every page. Kept one year.skl_lang— remembers the language you picked in the language selector. Kept one year.
A third one, edit_auth, exists only for the estate’s own staff when they log in to edit the site. It is never set for visitors.
You can delete all of them at any time through your browser settings; the site will keep working, and will simply ask the age question again.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you may ask us to give you a copy of your data, correct it, delete it, restrict its use, or object to its processing — and to receive it in a portable format.
Write to info@seclantas-adentro-vinos.com and we will answer within one month. If our answer does not satisfy you, you may lodge a complaint with the French data protection authority, the CNIL, or with the supervisory authority of the EU country where you live.
